By downloading or using HoneyHoles (the "App"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
1. What HoneyHoles is
HoneyHoles provides fishing spot information — locations, species, and fishing tips — for entertainment and informational purposes. Spots are unlocked with one-time purchases ("pins") or through the HoneyHoles Club membership.
2. Purchases & subscriptions
- Pins are consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple. Once a pin is spent to unlock a spot, that unlock is permanent on your device.
- HoneyHoles Club is an auto-renewing monthly subscription. It renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions.
- Club membership includes one spot credit granted each month while the membership is active, spendable on any inshore or offshore spot (Elite offshore spots excluded), plus a discount on standard offshore spot purchases.
- Spot exclusivity. When a user unlocks a spot, that spot is hidden from other users' maps for six months. Spots visible to you today may become unavailable if another user unlocks them first. Spots you have unlocked always remain available to you.
- All payments and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. We cannot issue refunds directly.
3. Fishing is your responsibility
Read this section twice.
- No guarantee of fish or accuracy. Spot information is provided "as is." Conditions change — water moves, structure disappears, fish relocate, access changes. We do not guarantee any spot is accurate, current, productive, or accessible.
- Legal access is on you. You are solely responsible for confirming that any location may be legally accessed and fished, and for complying with all laws and regulations, including FWC rules, licenses, seasons, size and bag limits, and private property and trespassing laws. A pin in the App is not permission to be somewhere.
- Not a navigation tool. The App is not designed or licensed for navigation. Never use it as a navigational aid on the water. Use official charts and proper equipment.
- Assumption of risk. Fishing — especially near moving water, spillways, roadsides, and offshore — is inherently dangerous. You assume all risks arising from your use of the App and from visiting any location it describes.
4. Don't burn the spots
Spot data is licensed to you for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not republish, share, resell, scrape, extract, or distribute spot locations or intel, publicly or privately. We may terminate App access (without refund of consumed purchases) for violations of this section.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HoneyHoles and its owner are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for personal injury, property damage, citation, arrest, or loss arising from your use of the App or any location it describes. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us through the App in the 12 months before the claim.
6. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be flagged in the App.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
